Patterns from Mauritius
This concept was inspired by the need to promote Mauritius culture through fashion products. Fashion is an expression of culture and is influenced by cultural trends, traditions, customs, and beliefs. By promoting culture through fashion, we can celebrate diversity and promote cultural understanding and appreciation.
Curtin Mauritius-
Refraction Grad Show 2021
At the end of their final year, Curtin Mauritius’ undergraduate students majoring in digital design are tasked with showcasing their portfolios to industry professionals. With the aim of networking and hopefully being hired, students collaborate together to ensure all aspects of the event are consistent and coherent. This case study showcases storytelling in branding for events.
Reef Conservation
The reef conservation project explores visual storytelling through a series of images that highlight the importance of the protection of marine life. By making use of the term ‘hybridity’, the project aimed at sensitising a young audience on a major marine issues that is threatening the biodiversity of our ocean.
